Our Bars
Choose the bar that best fits your aesthetic for your event. Both bars are 6ft long and can fit indoors and outdoors as long as there is a flat surface. If you'd prefer us to choose, we're happy to do that as well!
FAQs
Do you offer any customizations?
We love a themed event and are more than happy to discuss any customizations you'd like, whether it's custom cups, napkins, or decorating the bar to match your theme. We can also customize the beverages and menu to match your theme.
Why is alcohol not included?
Michigan is a DRY HIRE state and due to Michigan liquor laws and regulations, we cannot legally purchase alcohol on your behalf. We will provide a shopping list to you that goes over the quantity you will need to purchase, then our delivery liaison will coordinate with you to handle the rest.
What is included in the Full Bar Service add-on?
This add-on allows for up to 4 additional liquors to be served at your event, along with mixers and garnishes. If you'd like a specific mixer(s), just let us know and we will provide at no additional cost.
Do you offer flexible payment options?
We understand everyone's budget looks different so we do offer flexible payment options based on what is best for you. We offer payment plans and flexible pricing, so reach out to us if you are requesting a custom quote and we're more than happy to work with you.
We make getting beverages to your event easy by providing you with a shopping list and helping coordinate the rest!
Behind the Bar
Thirsty Detroit is all about making events special and curating cocktails (or mocktails) custom to your preferences. We make planning & hosting less stressful by taking care of all of your beverage needs, and providing reliable communication throughout the entire process.
Detroit native Taj graduated from Wayne State University with her Masters in Communication while bartending on the side for 6 years. Now, as a Corporate Project Manager, she felt the desire to have something of her own and create a business that would combine her love for bartending, hosting events, and contribute to the many black & women owned businesses in the city she loves. She always says she loves to party but was born to host, so she empathizes with the coordination it takes to plan events and knows what a relief it is to have help. She focuses on all communications, marketing, creating new cocktail recipes, and growing the brand.
Kyle grew up in Martin, Michigan and graduated from Western Michigan University with his Bachelor's in Criminal Justice. After graduation, he lived in Ann Arbor for a short time then made his way to Detroit as he always wanted to live in the city, home to one of his favorite foods, the Coney dog. When he's not working as a Corporate Mortgage Processor, he is trying new craft beers, watching European soccer, or managing his pug's Instagram account. He also takes pride in home renovation projects and can tackle most things without a blueprint, for example, one of our bars was made by him and his dad! He focuses on logistics and overall operations for the business.
